The last post showed some of my favourite Spring/Summer 2012 looks from designer Jill Stuart - however this designer was amongst many who chose to give a whirl to pastels, such as Luca Luca, Jaegar London, Mulberry, House of Holland and Richard Nichol.

As someone who for the past couple of years has been a devotee to a colour palette of black, gray, and neutral tones (code for bland and boring) - I am excited to take the plunge back into wearing colour again.  Colour can sometimes be a little petrifying to wear, but pastels are nice and soft - you can wear colour without running the risk of blinding people out on the street and offending older people in public transit.  Now if only summer could just come a little sooner!
